As you can see from the images, the q60 comes with a candy bar form factor which is quite similar to most Blackberry devices–a compact QWERTY keyboard below a landscape-oriented display.
Not a large phone, the q60 measures only 14 mm in size, is definitely easy to slip onto a pants pocket of purse. Since the phone is a little bit wide, cltching it in your hand and holding it up to your ear is a bit awkward and cumbersome. The Gigabyte q60 features a beautiful 2.5 inch, 262000 colour display with a 320 x 240 resolution. the text and images are surely to be very clear and vibrant on the screen.
Below the screen, there are some dedicted buttons, such as the Talk and End keys and the mobile Internet key. The buttons are pretty large so you should be fine. On the QWERTY keyboard, the number keys are highloghted in red while the alphabets are in black.
Gigabyte g-Smart q60 has some multimedia capabilities. More specifically, you are able to use the internal media player to play and listen to either MP3 music or MPEG4 videos.
Being a smartphone, you can continue to play music as you use the device’s other programs, and if you happen to get an incoming call, the g-smart q60 will pause the music and pick up where you left off after you hang up.
Wireless options are pretty much limited to Bluetooth v2.0. There is no A2DP support for Bluetooth stereo headphones.
A good news is here! The device support 3G, HSDPA connectivities, which mean you can have a great internet mobile speed in your device. While you are on the subject, the Gigabyte’s browser supports the WAP and HTML Web browsing. An attachment viewer is also onboard to open popular file formats, such as those from Microsoft Word, Excel as well as PowerPoint.
Finally, the BlackBerry 8800 includes a number of PIM tools for the business users including a calender and a calculator.
