HTC S730

When I first look at the picture of S730, I thought it was just a normal candy bar phobe from HTC. However, there is something that shocks me. In fact, besides P6500 I introduced yesterday, HTC S730 is another new Pocket PC phone with wide range of industry-leading features.

It is the successor of the HTC S710, also a smartphone with a common sliding QWERTY keyboard. However, this QWERTY is not ‘traditional’ anymore. Matching the well design of the phone, it has a nice facelift. Also based on the latest Window Mobile 6 OS, S730 is supported by the 400 MHz processor, with 256 MB ROM and 64 MB RAM.

HTC S730

This device sports an average size 2.4 inch TFT display. Surprisingly, the device inherits the Home screen applications of HTC Touch, which is nice.

Besides that, the quad-band GSM/EDGE phone will indeed be a 3G enabled one. The HSDPA connectivity allows data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps, a fairly evolved performance. For sure, the phone also includes the ‘Must’ features such as Bluetooth with A2DP and W-Fi support. Anyway, you may start to look for the phone now in the market since it may be released as early as October.
