HTC Touch Dual

The HTC Touch series seems to be very popular Windows Mobile 6.0 mobile devices in the market. The attractive design combines with mostly advanced features build up the strong performance of the HTC TOuch phones.

The Touch DUal has an incredible size for a PDA-phone. At just 15.8 mm thick, it is unbelievable for a PDA phone to have such size.

This slider of course features a slide out keypad which is secretly hidden under the display screen. It is a numeric keypad which comes with a total of 16 keys. Although there is a compact QWERTY keypad, HTC also incorporates a TouchFLO finger swipe navigation into this device.

Do you feel comfortable when you first look at this device? There is reason for it! It feels really good on the hand as the material of the chassis of the Dual is made of a soft-touch plastic.

Some dedicated buttons such as the power button, camera shutter and volume control are all located around the silver strip on the edge of the Dual.

A primary 2 MP camera is placed behind the device when the Dual is successfully slided out. Like many 3G phones, this PDA also sports a secondary front-facing VGA video calling camera.

It promises to be a HSDPA phone, however does not come with the common Wi-Fi function, which is a dissapointing part. But this doesn’t mean that the Touch Dual is weak, the overall outlook is still good.

If you were not looking for a PDA with Wi-Fi, I will highly recommend the this WM6 Touch Dual.
