The Nokia 1202 would be a nice phone for anyone who does not need any fancy options. Coming in the cheapest price the company has ever launched, the Nokia 1202 would be very welcomed in poorern and more remote areas of India and Africa.
Other than low price, it has plenty of features that make it attractive. This includes the built in multiple phonebooks that can take into account different users. It also has a very long battery life, giving up to 8 hours talk time and 624 hours (26 days) standby time.
We reliazed that the screen is an old fashioned 96 x 68 pixels display. It seems to be really basic but it is good enough to control a simple phone like this. By the way, it is worth to mention that the phone is packed with a dust-resistant keypad. It also features a built in flashlight and a cost tracker. The Nokia 1202 should be available soon in Australia in Dec 2008.
