As one of the new member of Nokia Nseries, the N79 is well defined as a fully loaded multimedia computer that combines intelligent and brilliant design. The N79’s keypad and screen bezel are available in two colours: Canvas white and Seal grey, with the Espresso Brown Xpress-On smart cover as a standard accessory.
It’s quite a sleek phone, measuring 110mm by 49mm by 15mm and Nokia successfully keeps the weight of the handset down to 97 grams. Behinds its slim exterior, the Nokia packs sophisticated technologies into the compact mobile computer.
Running on Symbian S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, it rocks a more advanced 5 MP Carl Zeissn camera with dual LED flash. Users can listen to music downloaded from the Nokia Music Store via the 3.5 mm audio jack. The music player can also be used to toggle the FM transmitter feature. The sounds coming from headphone port, stereo speakers and Bluetooth headphones are excellent.
Each Nokia N79 comes packaged with a 4GB microSD memory card that make it possible to store around 3000 songs, approximately 2,500 pictures and up to four hours of DVD-quality video clips. The N79 combines high speed 3.5G HSDPA and WiFi, enabling the user to experience quicker and easier sharing of photos and music on websites, blogs or online communities such as Friendster, Flickr or YouTube.
Additionally, as a techonology powerhouse, it also offers integrated navigation and at least 10 pre-loaded N-Gage games. The new Nokia Maps and built in A-GPS assist you to locate and search the ways more quickly and easily on the go.
