Watching TV whilist on-the-go may finally become a reality for the greater of us – and Finnish phone maker, Nokia, has come up with the world’s first mobile device to support the DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting – Handhelds) standard for viewing broadcast TV programs without the need to sit in front of a box.
The N92, having taken over as the Nseries’s flagship even before the N91 has made it to market, will also be a 3G-enabled handset with most of the bells and whistles found on its N80 counterpart. With the exception of a 2.0-megapixel and VGA camera duo setup here, the N92 is as-well equipped in terms of local and network-based data connectivity.


Its clamshell-like form factor offers two unique ways of using the phone: in an clamshell opened way, or in “view” mode where the 2.8-inch QVGA display (supporting up to 16 million colours) becomes horizontally orientated. Nokia has erected a dual-purpose keypad design that still complies with the ITU-T 12-button standard layout, allowing its user to comfortably use the phone in either of the two ways. Read More
