Philips 290 is a simple affordable phone that is in candybar form which is an an easy-to-use design. The phone is designed to feature a TFT 256000 colours screen that is in 1.8 inches, supporting a nice 128 x 160 pixels resolution.
The arrangement of the numeric keypad and navigation key is quite special here. Different from most of the devices, the 4-navigation key is seperated from the dedicated calling plus ending keys as well as the number keys in each column.
