A new PDA phone is coming! The Wing, released by T-Mobile, is a high end Pocket PC phone loaded with features created and designed to appeal business users. This PDA is based on Windows Mobile 6.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition. The Wing comes with an attractive design, especially the bright blue casing make the phone stands out the crowd.

Just like other PDA phone, a full slide out comfortable QWERTY keypad and a camera (2 MP) are neccessary. The screen is nothing special. It measures 2.8 inches corner to corner, delivers 240 x 320 pixels in that space, and handles 65,000 colours.
The Wing is quite heavy at 170g. You will be aware of its presence if you carry it in a pocket.
The Wing boasts its good perfomance as a Web browser and that the keyboard makes the mobile email more attractive. The call quality is also good. However, the most obvious problem is that the T-Mobile Wing is Quad-band GSM but lacks 3G. The absence of 3G speed really bites.
Even worse, Wi-Fi offered does not seem to replace slower EDGE networking. Bluetooth and USB cable are both here, but there is no infra red. Anyway, with the addition of Windows Mobile 6, the T-Mobile Wing adds a powerful smart phone to the carrier’s lineup.
