Xenium 9@9m

Another Philips mobile with a big touchscreen is now introduced for you, Philips Xenium 9@9m. Well, it is an interesting name, isn’t it? This phone comes with an impressed design for those who want a more sophisticated mobile device.

The pictures show quite a bulky phone, but it isn’t as you think. Xenium 9@9m is only 17mm thick and 109 grams in weight. In other words, it is almost one third smaller than the Sony Ericsson P900 similar model.

As I mention above, the phone is also dominated by the large 2.5 inch touchscreen which has been “incorporated” some special features. It recognizes handwriting and supports ENG to CHN and CHN to ENG dictionary. The stylus provided offers you an easy way to write your own message!

In fact, Philips Xenium 9@9m is not a PDA phone (which most of the people will think it is). It is actually a good looking handset with heaps of special features and impressive performance. This triband mobile supports only GPRS but not other connectivities such as 3G, WLAN or EDGE data, which could be quite disappointing.

However, the Xenium 9@9m is equipped with a good Bluetooth wireless technology, offering you fast trasfer rates between your computer and phone.

The Xenium has a well built multimedia player which capable of playing back MP3 and MPEG4 files. Moreover, thanks to a 2 MP camera with flash on the back of the phone, it makes the device more solid. With approximately 70 MB of internal memory and optional external microSD card, you can feel free to express yourself.
